Awraham Soetendorp is Rabbi of the Reform Jewish Community of The Hague, and Rabbi of the Union of Dutch Reform Jewish Communities. Born in 1943 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Rabbi Soetendorp survived as a “hidden child”.At TEDxAmsterdam he spoke briefly about his own life, and about his belief in the goodness of peoples short talk moved the audience immensely and he got a standing ovation. Soetendorp was involved with the Charter for Compassion, a TEDPrize project initiated by Karen Armstrong.
