Some of you may know Robert Frost. He wrote a poem called “The Road Less Traveled”. Why I’m quoting him? Not necessarily, because I fully support him, but I’m writing about my experiences at Audarya. Living here means looking at your attachments. What do I like and what do I dislike? What is ultimately good for me and what is bad? And how do the answers to these two questions work out together? We often have certain ideas about reality that do not correspond with it.
For example, being the boss may give us greater freedom, but it also gives us greater responsibility. In that sense, it ties us down more to our work than when we are a regular employee. Moreover, being the boss may give us greater pay, but our greater responsibility gives us less time to enjoy it. In other words, there is no free lunch in this world. Whatever we do it ties us more to one side or the other. And the question is to what or who do we want to be attached?
