Two weeks ago the French sun was hitting my head. Two days ago the Austrian sun looked at me. And today I just saw clouds when looking over Wired to the beach and the rough seas. I went up to the Indian embassy for my visa. 45 minutes before I could hand in my papers, and 45 minutes later on before I was handed my passport. Nicely stamped with a visa. My entrance to the country is secured. I’m praying for entrance in the holy city. The eyes may see it, but will the heart understand? I heard the ladies talk at the embassy. They wanted to take all opportunities to see whatever countries they could. They summed up a list, the philippines, fiji, india, china and so on. And all I could think of was, how much have you seen of yourself? The eyes may once again be pleased but memories fade with time while we will still be stuck with ourselves. Travel the heart, my friends, I was thinking while I continued reading Wired behind the steering wheel.
